At the 28th International Coordinating Council of the UNESCO MAB Program (March 18-19, 2016), the expansion registration of the Hakusan UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, the Odaigahara, Omine, and Osugidani UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, and the Yakushima and Kuchinaru UNESCO Biosphere Reserve was approved.
Following the approval of the expansion registration, representatives from the three UNESCO Biosphere Reserves delivered greetings.
