On December 14, 2024, the United Nations University Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability (UNU-IAS) held an event to discuss the challenges and mechanisms for youth engagement in policy decision-making. Two students from Kanazawa, who participated in the 29th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) through the OUIK’s “Leadership Development Program for Next Generation: Changing the World from Kanazawa, Ishikawa 2024”, also attended the event.
