Capacity: Approximately 20 people (on-site participation; a free shuttle bus is available between Kanazawa Station – the venue). Online viewing is also available, but please note that online participants cannot participate in the discussion session.

Since 2023, the Global Important Agricultural Heritage Systems (GIAHS) International Study Programme, which is jointly hosted by Ishikawa Prefecture and the United Nations University Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability Operating Unit Ishikawa/Kanazawa (OUIK), has enabled university students from Ishikawa Prefecture to visit Noto and Italy. There, they have studied GIAHS from an international perspective. At this results presentation, the students will share their proposals for overcoming regional challenges and contemplate the future of their communities.
