OUIK will report the outcomes of the 1st Asian conference on Biocultural Diversity at the COP 13 official side event [Muchttanbal Summit] on 10th December, in Cancun Mexico.
Mr. Watanabe will be the Panel for High level session to report about Ishikawa Declaration by which mutual learning to enhance the link between biological and cultural diversity between GIAHS, UNESCO MAB and other internaitonal designation systems. OUIK’s further commitment to provide experience-based learning by Satoyama-Satoumi landscapes in Ishikawa Prefecture will be also presented.
