OUIK and Educational Unit for Studies on Connectivity of Hills, Humans and Oceans (CoHHO), Kyoto University have signed on MOU

OUIK and the Educational Unit for Studies on Connectivity of Hills, Humans and Oceans (CoHHO), Center for the Promotion of Interdisciplinary Education and Research (C-PiER), Kyoto University signed a memorandum for joint research and cooperation with regard to the training of human resources.

OUIK and Kyoto University Graduate School of Global Environmental Studies (GSGES) have already signed the memorandum in order to strengthen the relationship between both organizations. First of all, Mr. Harada and Mr. Kato, interns of GSGES, were assigned as OUIK intern researchers for three months (September 14 ~ December 14) to study the systems related to GIAHS and to carry out research on forest management. They will compile their research results for their graduation theses. With this signing, it is expected that both organizations will cooperate further in the future.
